Youth for Education, Climate Action, Agriculture and Sustainable Development – Ghana (YECASD-GHANA) is a youth-led, grassroots nonprofit organization committed to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and building climate-resilient communities across Ghana.

We believe sustainable development begins where dignity, education, and environmental responsibility meet. Our work bridges critical gaps in child welfare, climate action advocacy, sustainable agriculture awareness, and youth empowerment, particularly in underserved and deprived communities.

Founded and driven entirely by volunteer passion and community trust, YECASD-GHANA exists to ensure that no child is left behind and no community is excluded from the climate and development conversation.

*1 *. Restoring Dignity Through the “Clothe a Child” Initiative**
Distributed over 5,000 clothing items to children in over 16 underserved communities.
Reached schools where more than 75% of pupils lacked proper clothing, directly addressing a barrier to enrolment and attendance.
Improved confidence, school participation, and parental engagement.
Mobilising support to distribute 10,000+ clothing items and learning materials in the next phase.
This initiative has not only clothed children — it has restored dignity, strengthened school retention, and revived hope in vulnerable households.

Successfully organized and hosted a Live Radio Climate Action Debate, creating a powerful public platform for youth, environmental advocates, and community leaders.
Increased public awareness on climate change impacts, sustainable agriculture, and local adaptation solutions.
Sparked community dialogue around climate resilience and environmental responsibility.
In a region where climate change directly threatens livelihoods, agriculture, and water systems, YECASD-GHANA is positioning young people at the forefront of environmental leadership.
